Well this isn't really my thing, but I've sent this one off to Hondagal. Anybody else want to try their hand

Anyone who wants to use this one only has to right click on it, save as a .gif to their hard drive and update their avatar via 'My Computer'

Just seen this thread...............but how about a nice stook in the piccy as well....zooming from side to side, zipping past the opposition ??
seriously though, well you tried and those lovely but unworldly Americans will absolutely lovvvvve it
If it had a beefeater in full dress, or Anne Hathaways cottage even better....we all do live in cottages with bluebells and honeysuckle don't we
Or even a piccy of a stook with a nice english sheepdog in the passenger seat.
I love my country but not so obviously
man

Hondagal has put this avatar in the library but I'm gonna try and do something a little more compact that we can perhaps use in our signatures to identify ourselves on other boards, which I think is the main idea, and we'll be free to use our own avatars. I'm sort of missing my elephant anyway

Excellent! A smaller UK themed image for sigs would be just the job and, as you say, it keeps the space free for elephants (sorry, avatars! )
