Default Clutch recommendations

What are the recommendations for the best after-market replacement clutch?
I am looking for as light a pedal as possible, and I am not planning any massive power increases (although I might consider a lightweight flywheel while replacing the clutch).

Exedy. Make sure you get new release and flywheel bearings. Most 'kits' do not come with these. so check what is included.

I now have a 3 puck full metal spoon clutch - trust me - if you want a light clutch and stock feel, that is NOT the clutch you want. It grinds and makes a racket when you take off, but Flip me does it make for quick shifts once you're going - the lightweight flywheel has made a difference I think, but haven't driven the car in anger properly yet - well not enough to tell anyway....

i have a stage 4 competition clutch and it sounds like crap and is not the easiest thing to drive in traffic, i can live with it on the driving side but the noise is pissing me off, its the second one as CC paid to have another fitted it was so bad, second one sounded a little better but i would find it hard to sell the car making a noise like it does, worst thing i ever fitted, perhaps a stage 2 or ironman would have been a better choice.

ACT is the closest you will get to stock feel ..... but it can handle up to 400bhp.

competition ironman here, lovely clutch not far off stock, easy to drive with

will take any power /torque u throw at it

just fitted one to lucky77's and also to an ep3 600 bhp but most important 500 ftlbs of torque

the stage 4 clutch is renound to be grabby, heavy and noisy bad luck

FML

I wish I would've seen this topic last week! I just got my CC Stage 4 - 1620 6 Pad Ceramic Sprung Clutch Kit w/ ULW Flywheel delivered 2 days ago.

Although having said that, I bought the car standard with an F1 Racing Stage 3 Clutch & Chromoly LW Flywheel, so if the 2 have similar pedal feel i'm golden!

Was contemplating fitting myself, but Honda will fit for 250....and having never fitted one....hmmm decisions, decisions.
