Clutch...whoops

I think so yes, now that I have a new clutch it's coming out .... it does stop you lighting up the rear tyres so easily though. You can't do launches without making a whole lot of noise / smell and no go

I On Nicks advice I tried the "dip clutch in 6th at 3k". Kept the throttle on, lifted clutch up and it bit instantly. Perhaps it's not a problem after all!

I'm pretty sure Exedy is not the same clutch as the Honda Branded OEM. Unless it's different from the Teg and ATR. Maybe has an OEM feel.
Interesting how many cheaper parts are advertised as OEM when they aren't. I think the parts manufacturers just use the term to mean not uprated.
Plenty of people on the ITR and ATR forums running Exedy clutches with no problems, but I was happy to pay the extra £20ish quid to get Honda quality, (which the independent specialist who fitted it assured me was better quality than the Exedy - he would have supplied either) when I did the ATR's clutch.
