Colour Choices?
Hi folks,
Great to have had the replies to my thread lower down about car supermarkets/Bob Gerard etc so THANKS for the help so far.
Next issue for me is colour/s:
Is Nurby a bit problematic in any way come trade in time? I quite like it myself, and have chance of a new car in Nurby and black and blue inside, but I'm slightly wary that this combo might be preceived out there from a general viewpoint as - and no disrespect meant at all to Nurbyers - as not the 'best news' from a S/H point of view.
I'm suspecting that moonrock/silver with black is probably the best/safest bet when buying new if colour ain't that bigger deal to the buyer - which it isn't to me really.
Any views would be most welcome.
TIA,
Mike

Some colours command a *small* premium for rarity (black) and some command less due to colour (nurby blue), in between are the silvers/greys.
I wanted black when I got mine a couple of years ago, used prices were about

Also, you ask about value *trade-in* - it's lose-lose as dealers will say the following:
Black - always dirty sir, we'll have to knock off the p-ex price.
Silver - loads on the market sir, we'll have to knock off the p-ex price.
Nurby - hard to sell sir, we'll have to knock off the p-ex price.
Red - not in deman sir, we'll have to knock off the p-ex price.
and so on. You'll never hear "oh, that's a good colour sir, we can sell that easily so will offer you top whack"

Just get the one you want - the minimal difference come trade in time will be offset by being happy with the car you have.
Well worth it
