Default Corbeau Club Sport Seats

Looking at getting a new seat on the drivers side. Corbeau Club Sport seats just came on the market for 2014 and might be an option...

Can anyone tell me if these dimensions would be suitable for an S2000?

From the looks of it the sides come up too high and will foul the top of the tunnel. They also look like they won't work very well with the OEM seatbelts. The standard size may fit depending on how much the sides flare. Are you looking at the standard or excel size?

You could solve the issue with the high sides and the OEM seatbelts by buying a seat belt extender. I need one for my Bride Zeta 3 seat.

I was thinking more that if the sides are too high the OEM belt won't hold you in!

Thanks guys.
I'd be looking at standard sizes. I'm a 32 waist. I was hoping to keep the OEM seatbelts too.

I was going to feed the seat belt extender through the hole for the bottom left harness, so in theory it should work fine.

That's my current set-up. Right now I've got to have the seat belt over the top of the left hand side to click it into the receiver.

Have you sat in one yet? You might get away with it. I'm a 34" waist and the large Buddy Club seats are about right for me.

With Buddy Club P1 seats and Buddy Club rails the seatbelt hole is in the wrong place for an extender to work safely through the hole - it pulls the clip backward from the mount which it was clearly never designed for.

If you've got different rails/mounts etc. you may have more luck though.

I've got Recaro pole positions and my seatbelt clip actually fits through the harness hole tunnel side,I'm not really a lard ass so I don't have the clip sticking in my buttocks. It works fine, what doesn't is getting the seat adjusted so its comfortable for my weary old body,I drive it,take the seat out adjust the plates, put it back in,drive it ........I may have got it right just now but my next distance run is to Japfest so I hope its right

Ill toke a pic of my seatbelt setup and post it up if you like?
