Yep just pull it away from the gearbox it comes out fairly easy just make sure when you push it back on the fork is pointing towards the rear of the car otherwise it will not clip back on as I found out after ten minutes of pushing and swearing thinking it won't clip back in

Yeah, really easy to do. Just gently pull it and it'll come off.

What temp grease should I get to to the job? In halfords they do a castrol grease, temp up to 120. is this high enough?
