Default Creeky / Screeching noise

Noticed a metallic creaky noise at low speed, sounding just like the pads were due, so i ordered some new pads and proceded to fit them. When pads were out I rotated the hub and all was quiet, but since new pads are in it still makes the noise.

It isn't the hub nuts, its not clicking.

Any ideas gents?

Sounds like it could be a wheel bearing.

Mine is doing same - cyclical sound, not constant and only noticeable at about 20mph.... with the radio off!! Think it's a bearing, but certainly not bad enough to even know which side it is yet!

Make sure you use plenty of copper grease when installing the pads; we had that issue with squeaky-EK.

The other thing that's worth a try is squirting ALL the suspension bushes with Holt's silicone & rubber lubricant (there are a lot of them).

It usually afflicts Hondas during cold, dry spells in the winter and can drive you mad over road tits.

Could possibly be bearing - that would make sense too as had a problem with rear passenger side caliper binding earlier this year and that is where the noise is coming from.

Will investigate further tonight and make sure the zimmer is out!

Right had the car into garage and they can't find anything wrong!

-There is no noise without load
-No vertical play when jacked up
-Doesn't do it when cold (needs 2/3 miles to start)
-Its now a screeching noise
-Noticeing a clunking noise when moving off from low speed or when re-applying power at low speed (i.e. slowing right down for a round about in 2nd then re applying power)

Does this sound like the wheel bearing becuase thats my theory but the lack of vertical play when jacked up makes me doubt this.

Help needed here!
