Default Crunch - sore lip

Morning all
Popped round to my mums on the way to work to see her off and had to pull up on the grass verge as the drive was full.

Momentarily forgetting how high the verge becomes I hear the scrape and crunch which then started off my Friday bad mood

Now have a broken OEM lip and 'lees lip' now also need replacing.

Was due to be painted at the end of the summer so just some extra work for the body shop. It's a relatively clean break so hoping that it can be fixed together as don't want a copy lip

Prior to fitting lees lip I used to get a bit of give when tacking some drives/speed bumps but you have to drive so much more carefully with one of these extra lips fitted!!!

Nothing quite like Friday feeling

Misery. That must of been some "scrape" to do that. Last night I popped into B&Q, while putting some stuff in the car a lady in a mini drove into the parking space next to me...CRUNCH as she drove too far forward onto the kerb. Reversed back, drove forward again....CRUNCH! Some people never learn.

It's was the extra lip that did it , it's blade like and dug into the verge rather than gliding/scraping over it
All my fault not the lips

That's what it ripped off so will make some new fixing points

Got a new lip on order via lee and going to rebuild the OEM one with some fibreglass and cuts from what's left of lees splitter
It will live again
