cusco oil catch can questions
Hello guys,
Recently purchased a cusco oil catch can, now to realise that it's a copy and not genuine.
Now I'm not too bothered by that, I just need to know a few things so I can get my money back for it.
Do the orginal cusco catch tanks have baffles in it to slow the exhaust gases down to increase condensation of the oil in the breather gas as such?
It's just mine is just a tank as such with no baffles in it, breather goes in, breather comes out.
Do alot of oil catch cans not have baffles? Are they mostly just tanks as such.
Was thinking of stuffing my catch can full of wire wool to kind of filter / catch the oil. Is this a poor idea? Would it cause too much back pressure on the breather system?
Also I need to get some ideas on how to actually plumb it in as such, what pipes to go where. As I'm looking to try and lower oil consumption issues and blue smoke on long right hand turns.
Any help would be much appreciated, cheers!
