It would be interesting to know if you could claim if the debris was simply lying on the road & wind/traffic airflow blew it up & you hit it - therefore there is no vehicle to claim from.

Subject: Enquiry about debris on A2
Hello
I was driving towards Bluewater on Monday 3rd September at around 12 noon and and i always use the same stretch of the A2 towards Canterbury. But as i was about to turn off at the junction towards Bluewater onto the B255 an LGV which was about 3 car spaces ahead of me picked up from its rear wheel a piece of debris, the size of a small dinner plate that ended up bouncing onto the front of my car bonnet causing a scuff mark on my car. I was told that i would be able to make a claim on the damage via a red form? It happened on the stretch of road between the Junction 2 of the M25 and the turn off to the B255 towaord Bluewater, where 3 lanes became 2 lanes, where there are on going road works because of the widening of the A2.
If you could let me know if this is possible or not. That would be great.
Thank you
