Check out "Autoleads" or "Modifry" both do an interface that make the dash controls work again.

the modifry one is silly money plus import duty, postage and stuff

on a pioneer i reckon this thread tells you what you need

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...-unit-1036439/

it's an adaptor and a brand specific patch lead

I have a Pioneer DEH-X7800DAB and needed Autoleads PC99-X60 "for Honda CR-V" for dash controls to work however I get the impression that could be specific to that model of headunit and not not necessarily all Pioneer headunits which doesn't help you much...

Also, the order in which you connect the cables will determine whether the adapter works with the dash controls. I'm sure the instructions have it in there.
