Default That didn't take long - Back again

Well, that really didn't take me long!!

After selling my car last year to fund a bloody house deposit only 3 months later I am finding myself back in a car (link to old thread https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/987...ing-to-end-up/)

A combination of ending up with a cheaper house and a new job meant I was suddenly able to get back in to something.

As most people do I spent at least an hour a day on Pistonheads for over a month, the usual, TVR Tamora, Exige, go mental E46 M3 CSL, Cayman S kind of debates.

Then I saw the Evo track day and car of the year vids and liked the idea of a R56 Mini GP, 6 pots, coilovers, track tyres from the factory all appealed. I was really set on one of these, but then I drove one and it was just sterile.

Then I thought, why not spend less and have a bit spare to tinker, I also went out in my Dads MX5, and that made my mind up. It had to be another S2000

So I just picked up this '09 with 20k on it. Hopefully the engine doesn't go pop, but my '08 was fine and this is from Honda so is covered for a year, and I'll probably extend.

Yes, I spent a tonne on the last one to then just go and buy this, but you only live once and you cant take it with you, so what the hell.

Plans this time around are to keep it NA and just do basic breathing mods and some other bits and bobs, also to keep it more standard looking this time. This time, it is 100% a keeper!!

Since the photo I've fitted Ricks 'JDM' smoked indicators, and also the BMW stubby aerial, so not much. I also picked up some Ohlins from MB, just waiting to get the bump steer kits and then I'll get these on.

I went out for an epic 4 hour drive on the sunny weekend we just had, and I really can't have wished to have been in another car

This is the drive if anyone is around north London. It is brilliant.

Great to be back

No more to sell Im afraid.

Yes it was from Bristol. It was over priced but then they reduced it buy £1000 and I was straight on the phone and haggled some more off.
