Default Diff Differences

Evening all.

Just a quick query.... Are there any physical differences in diffs over the years?

Would a 2001 diff fit a 2005 car using all the same mounting brackets etc?

Graeme

It's a Mazda 4.1 unit isn't it Ron?
I recall a few tuners grabbing the Kia Sportage bits from the front diff too to gear these up.
All Mazda bits...

I think the only difference is the connection to the prop shaft which just needs to be swapped from the old diff.

That's correct. 100% interchangeable without any modification
