Dilemma - S2000 or BMW 420d M Sport convertible?
#11
Keep s2000 at all costs is my opinion. BMW convertible VS Honda S2000.... its always going to be Honda.
Smiles per gallon s2000 wins.
Did the 420d engine win any awards?
Does it have Vtec?
my wife has a prius as a company car as costs are low due to co2 and governments ideals etc etc... if its a company car your changing get one that doesnt cost anything... and keep the Honda.
I have kwaka 636 s2000 and turbo clio. Prius is reliable work horse that is cheap but comfy and new.

Is there a question here! As many have said, im sure the S2000 will bring many more smiles! Be careful not to sell it and go for the diseaseal, only to regret it on a nice summer evening when you want to go for a blast with Vtec screaming!
As WeatyGT put it......smiles per gallon!

I've had a 330d coupe for 3 years after years in convertibles.
The 330d is now mapped and seriously quick - but is it interesting ? No.
Do I get the fun I got from the S2K (a yellow MY05) ? No, most definitely not.
Do I miss the S2K and regret selling it constantly ? Yes !
If you can use the company car - be it 330d or 420d for long runs then do. The new 420d with auto is a lovely car and one I would have for a long run. Would I have it as a convertible - definitely not !
Keep the S2K and use it for weekends. Get a 420d coupe for the work stuff - but not the convertible.
If you sell the S2K you will regret it - I always have and have not managed to return !! To me the S2K is better as a 2nd car anyway ... which is the mistake I made trying to use it for everything.
My BMW 330d is going for a new Fiesta ST btw ... slower but more involving whilst still being practical. Lose a fun car and the loss is immense ...
