Default Does anyone know this car, KT09 NFE?

Hi guys,

After a long time away, I'm considering getting back into an S2000. My fourth, if it happens.

Does anyone know this car?

Registration is KT09 NFE, was previously J22JCK.

The advert is sparse, but I can see a non-standard gear knob and perhaps some mesh grills at the front, so maybe someone here knows it.

Honda S2000 i GT 2dr 2.0

Any feedback on the car , or the dealer, much appreciated.

Cheers.

(I see my old Sig still works!)

I guess if you've had 3 before you are aware of the possible engine issues with 09 cars?

Yes, I do. My last one was 09.(DN09NNU, if anyone knows / has it)

I had no issues with that car and I figure that 8 years is enough time for any problems to manifest themselves.

Any one got a view on the linked car? See anything good/bad/unusual?

Siwil1 will disagreed about 8 years being long enough for the problem to show up...

I've got an 09 registered car (although the VIN suggests it is actually MY08) with 19.5k miles on it and I am just starting to get excessive crankshaft end-float.

If you are seriously looking to buy an 09 car I would suggest you check the end-float prior to purchase. It's not a definitive guarantee there will be no problems, but it's a pretty good marker to the state of the thrust washers.

OK, fair points.

Is there a list of the codes to check?
