I use mine if I know the day is going to be great and I am going to be out in the car most of the day, but otherwise its just too much of a pain, it does make the car look even better though.

I've had it on a few times, but can never really be bothered to do it every time I go out, it does make the car look better though, but imagine the hassle if you just stopped and wanted the roof up or down .. no, leave it at ahome

I think it adds to the look - when installed. It makes the roadster effect seem complete.

However, I have a problem with mine - I wonder if any of you have the same issue?

When travelling at reasonable speeds of 50+, I get a farting vibration noise from the restraining straps behind the seats. Does anyone else get this?

Actually, I recall months ago there was a fix for this that an owner came up with. He modified the clips by putting some kind of extenders on them. Do a search. You have to go back to the beginning of the year or even end of last year. I can't remember that far back. Geez, it was a miracle I remembered this much.

Rhokpi et seq! thanks!

I wondered WTF was causing the farting in crosswinds.

In my old X1/9s something used to cause the same effect.
