Door Speakers
Hi all, yet another question from me...
After doing some research, have decided I'm not going to install headrest speaker into the S2000. I don't plan on having the car long enough for it to bother me. What I am planning on doing is replacing the door speakers and twitters.
How easy is it to replace the door speakers, I’m not sure I have the confidence to do this… also, what speakers would anyone recommend, guess I need some component speakers.
Many thanks
Henry

Here's an installation guide

You will need component speakers 6.5" in size here's a selection.

You may need some spacer rings to get these to fit. About £5 from Ebay.

Thank you for the reply and finding the links etc, much appriciated. That looks tricky... Once light tomorrow I will have a look at the door and see if I could do that myself.

This is something i have been meaning to get around to for ages. Anybody got any experience of these?

It states that they are shallow mount speakers so they may not need the spacers?
I've got an Alpine headunit with ipod so they may go well together...

I had those spooned once on a previous car they are very lacking in mid range punch. Id go for something better and some spacers, I can't decide between JL Audio C2's and C5's currently.
