Door Stuck shut
Hello,
had an issue with my driver door recently where the door handle was sticking out and it wouldnt unlock unless i pressed the handle in.
I took the door card off and had a brief look, couldn't see any obvious problem, slid the door card back on and was planning to take off the passenger door card for a comparison.
I shut my drivers door over (stupid I know) i now cant get it open at all!
Ive tried it from both the inside and out and cant get it to open. If i pull the inside lock out and unlock it with the key the door stays unlocked but immediately locks itself when i pull the door handle.
Other than cutting the door card any suggestions to getting it open?
Cheers

You might be able to squirt WD40 in through the doorhandle pivots, down the window rubber & free off the stuck mechanism that way.
Then take it apart & apply lithium grease, to stop the voices...

with the door being jammed shut i cant get the door card off.
tried spraying wd40 in the lock and onto the mechanism down via the window slot. Still no luck!
I'll persevere and hope to get somewhere without bursting the door panel.

That's a bit fox/grain/chicken, not least because you need to have the door open to get the plastic plug out & the door card goes forwards and upwards to come off the ledge.
You might be able to use a panel puller all round the bottom & unsticky the weather membrane.
I'd remove the inside door handle, use a long, flexi pipe to squirt it I see if you can wangle the two rods until it releases.
