Driver's door controls

Quick question........
Should the drivers door controls (mirror and window switches) be illuminated when the lights are switched on?
The car is MY08, and I don't want to waste time looking for a blown bulb if there isn't one!

Mine on my MY55 are so I presume it varied year by year over the production run?
