Cars been sitting for a while and can't seem to be able to open the drivers door. Can't access from outside and inside door handle is stuck in the open position but door wont open. Can't access to take door card off.

Anybody got any ideas as i think cable may be gone

It's not cables, it's rods. Open the roof. unbolt the drivers seat. Remove the drivers seat - put the window down and you might just about get enough room free to wiggle the door card off.
You may break a few clips, probably the one up by the door mirror mount but hey ho.

Failing that a load of WD40 down the back edge of the door where the mechanism sits might be your only other way but ultimately this is going to be BFI.

This is possible and not too hard to do. Just did it today after my door lock got stuck in the closed position. Door card came out undamaged except for broken clips.
