Hi, looking at new front pads as the ones installed are near the end of there life. Ive been wanting to try the ds2500s as i have heard good things but i noticed they also sell a ds3000 pad for about £10 more. Anyone used both and have a opinion on this? Im only changing the front pads as the rears are fine. For reference im running dixcel extra speed pads all round.

As above, or Dixcel ES. The latter have better cold bite in my experience, but haven't tried on track yet. By the specs, they should be fine on track too. Cheaper too.

I had brake fade using standard pads on a track so changed to DS2500s (standard discs) and changed the fluid to Motul RBF600.
Unfortunately haven't been back on track to test them but on the street they stop a lot better than standard. Bite is excellent, not overly aggressive, no squeal from the pad, and seem to work from cold temps.
As for brake dust, meh, just wash your car / wheels more often.
Brake pedal feel is also more precise which I put down to the change in fluid and possible removal of some air from the system.
I've heard the DS3000's squeal a lot so not great if it's your daily car.

i went with 2500 at first but brake dust was horendous and stained my wheels, switched over to 3000 and dust was better, i didn't get any squeal though, maybe people glazed them?

Personally would buy some decent road pads & then get something like carbon pad to switch to for trackdays, depending on how many days planning on doing. I used to run rc6+ daily, which are excellent pads, but the squeal from them does get annoying in traffic.
