ECU swap and Hondata Flashpro
Hello to the UK community!
I need some help to clarify the compatibility of my ECU with a Hondata Flashpro.
My car is a MY2006 UK (DBW obviously). My ECU number is: 37820-PCX-G05
I use the search function before posting this. But it didn't help myself understanding if i can use a flashpro on my ECU or not.
According to the Hondata website, Flashpro is only compatible with 37820-PCX-G11 to 37820-PCX-G16 ECU.
Here Hondata Issue, Bruceski couldn't run a Flashpro on his 37820-PCX-G06 ECU.
But on several website the range of compatibility vary between 37820-PCX-G01 to 37820-PCX-G16 and 37820-PCX-G02 to 37820-PCX-G16.
example: scienceofspeed
or inlinepro
And here, The Hondata sponsor clearly says that the range of compatibility is 37820-PCX-G02 to 37820-PCX-G16: Hondata Int release
So, is it the lottery? Should i give it a try and see if my Flashpro works with my ECU? I know an S2K owner who can sell me a 37820-PCX-G14 ECU.
Could you tell me what kind of modifications it would require to fit this ECU in addition to the remote keys? Do you think it is possible to simply swap it or the connections should be different?
Well, thank you in advance for the help. I'm trying to get my build finished soon as I want to go to the Goodwood Festival with my S. It's going to be a nice trip from France to Goodwood!

Some news for potential Flashpro buyer. I received mine 1 week ago, and it perfectly works with my 37820-PCX-G050 ECU. I followed the procedure and only has to told to the flashpro that my car doesn't have the VSA in order to avoid some error code.
I tried the engine map given with the flashpro. But it doesn't make a big difference as this map is for stock engine with stock cat. Mine has Mugen intake/header/catback and a Sard sport catalyzer, so a proper tune is needed. It will be done by the end of the month. I'm curious to see the result.
