Kev,

Because I've sent stuff out to a lot of UK S2ki folk, these people had my email address and could ask me what was going on at S2ki. Not that I knew anything, mind. I had received about 6 emails and finally thought it best to email Pete to ask if he had any news. I bcc'd this to the SM3 email database (which Mark Turner had, maybe inadvertently, sent us) just to confirm to occasional users that we were all having problems logging in. The result was that AquilaEagle managed to run a small forum, so it wasn't a complete waste of energy!

Because the UK members are seemingly a close community, I'd go so far as suggesting that all members and guests of S2ki in the UK, could send their email address to a database file somewhere so that if this happens again (prior to a meet, for example, as happened at SM2) then no-one is left completely in the dark.

Suggestions?
:)

Glad you did that Graham, as some communication was restored. Just reminded me of picking up the phone on a cross line, lol
Maybe if it happens again address the subject slightly clearer to save any confusion.

Regards Kev

Will you be there at supermeet 3?
