Engine Bay Noise

Evening all,

A proper introduction will eventually follow once more work has been completed on my...project. Had to save myself from the dreary life of diesel company cars and picked up my second 04 plate AP2.

After the initial test drive and driving the car 150 miles home I’ve noticed a noise from the engine bay and I’m struggling to work out what it is myself. I’ve linked a YouTube video below if anyone could help shed some light?

Sounds like valve clearance need checking first

Sounds like a normal f20 really, noisy injectors maybe but yeh get the valve clearances checked and the cam cover painted at the same time.

That's exactly what I'll be doing, valve adjustment tool and feeler gauges are on the way. Annoyingly the paint for the cover is sat waiting to be used.
