Evening all,
the past couple of says when starting my car I've noticed a droning sound that seems to change pitch if i move the steering wheel about. Its hard to describe buts its a very electronic drone. Would I be right in thinking that the EPS unit would be on its way out? Whats the cost of replacing this and is it a DIY job?

Dont worry about it mine gives a strange hum on cold start up moving the wheel for 3 or 4 seconds.
