How could you have not stopped somewhere for a pack of wet wipes to clean up the worst of it?

Yeh the minstrels were for the trip and were open, I decided to bin them incase something unpleasant got inside. And it was quite late at night and dark and I didn't know where I was, so figured I'd just keep driving after sorting the passenger out. I think it was best not seeing what was in the car actually, probably would have made me vomit also..

Whe you say "continued driving after sorting the passenger out" why exactly did you do to sort them out? I have a good idea what I'd mean when saying that!

I totally understand how you feel. Once upon a time, I was kind enough to be the designated driver for a company christmas party. On the way home, my colleague decided to unload a bottle of red wine onto the carpet. On the positive side, there is hardly any noticeable stains on the black carpet, but the smell lingered there for more than a year.

Also, I was luckier than you, that journey was only 20min long and it wasn't my s2000.

Just cover the seat with my jacket for them to sit on and got a blanket out of the boot for them, make sure they were alright. I was in a panic, it just kept coming. I checked if they wanted me to find a hospital or if they were alright to keep going, and they preferred to keep going home so we did.

The smell stayed for a whole year? Did you clean it yourself or professionally?

Yea, done it the cheap way and did it myself. Used rolls and rolls of kitchen towels. Used plenty of fabric fresher too. I think my incident was quite unfortunate as it was mainly liquid that soaked beneath the carpets.

Well, good luck. Maybe getting it cleaned professionally is the way to go.
