Yep, id allow more like 5 if you haven't done it before.
Much better on a ramp - fitted in 15 mins and then for the next 4 hrs 45 mins.

with MB. I don't trust anyone to do any work to my car, as I like things done properly and no short cuts taken. Also I find it helps with your undertsanding of how things work and where they gowhat they do.
I swapped my exhaust over a couple of weekends back on my own, no hassle. That's something else I can tick off that I've done. Next will be a manifold
Use plenty of Plus Gas, replace all the nuts, put on a new gasket, take your time and you'll be fine

I suppose I'm quite lucky then. My local mechanic is also my neighbour, he's got no problem with me jumping in and giving a hand when working on my car.
Ok I still get charged a very reasonable cash in hand fee but also get use of the ramps and a comprehensive tool kit
