Exterior Temp Display Conversion deg F to deg C
Does anyone know how to convert the exterior temperature display from fahrenhiet to celsius?? I've got a US spec '07 in Canada and the temp reading in deg F is confusing to us metrified folk. I assume there is a jumper to dip switch somewhere (likely on the gauge assembly?) but I can't find anything in the Honda service manual.
Note: the SEL button toggles teh speed & odo from between miles & kilomenters but does not affect the exterior temp display
Any advice appreciated....

As arsie said, subtract 32 from your fahrenheit value then divide by 1.8 (or divide by 9 then multiply by 5)
A quick way is to subtract 30 and half the value. That should give you a ball park figure. The above formula is the exact answer.

Thanks for the lessons in basic temperature unit conversion calculations... but what I'm looking for is advice on how to change the cluster display from deg F to Deg C... I'm sure our ingenous Japanese friends must have designed in a jumper or dip switch to set the temp display units so one cluster design could service all markets..
