Cult 70's road movie where a guy with a fcuk-authority attitude drives a Dodge Challenger (beautiful V8 sound) across the US. No-one seen it?
He has a minor brush with the law which escalates and develops into a full blown high speed chase, monitored by a black DJ on a Radio Station. Ends up with the cops setting up a road block using a massive bulldozer which he deliberately slams into at 130 mph - with a full crowd of onlookers.

Ronin
Mad Max
Taxi
I'm waiting for Taxi 2 to come to the UK with subtitles - we can only get the full on French language one at the mo. Alright for the other half (French language teacher), but not so good for me. By the sounds of it, it could well be on my list before long.

I'll go the classic route, in no particular order:
Two lane Blacktop - cool, but with a plot the size of a postage stamp and two music stars.
American Graffitti. Great cars, funny and fast
Bullitt - Steve Mqueen - God of old school cool?
Driver - Ryan O'neal - Mad style with a nice twist.
Le Mans - makes you want to be a racing car driver!
