Sheesh! That's a fairly long wait. It should be delightfully torturous though

after a long debate, went for silver with red (to lighten the interior)

and the hardtop, figured it would be best as it's arriving in winter..

I had considered:

Audi TT - nice interior, bit wimpy on power, but not worth the extra cash
elise - nice drive, but too hard to live with as daily drive
vx220 - same as elise
boxster - good, but way over priced
tvr tuscan - great interior, but pricey, and reliabilty could be an issue

(mate has a TVR V8s, good for quick burn, but hardwork on longer journeys, sounds amazing, he was urging for the tuscan, but agrees the honda is a better all rounder)

Did you test drive all of those?
What were your views on the Boxster S?
Why no Z3 M on your list?
With that lead time looks like I could be into Jan delivery by the time I get round to it.
Ditto thoughts on hardtop

It should be worth the wait. I was lucky and managed to blag a dealer demonstrator before it had been delivered.

I've just finished running in. Vtec's here and I think I've pulled my grinning muscles. They'll build up quick enough

Mines Blue... the dealer had a lot of enquiries but nobody but me would stump up the cash without seeing the colour. So they ordered one. Which I bought. They had 3 people to look at the colour before I picked the car up. Their cars come in December too

Blue.....ya lucky m8.

I ordered Blue, the import agency say 5 month lead time. This did give me a collection date around 15th Dec. Phoned the Honda Dealer who actually took the order and they said start to middle of Jan due to shortened Christmas month.

Oooh the wait....

Often.
