Default First proper spirited drive in my S

Just back from my first proper blast on the twisty stuff with my new (to me) s2000...

What a machine, so rewarding to drive and properly exhilarating when being pushed hard with vtec!

But man, after a couple of years with me mx5 it's easy to not realise how much speed you pick up and how quickly it happens!! Easily tickling 3 figures before you know it, need to learn to respect that.

Really nice blast along the south deeside road, and over the Stonehaven slug road amongst other bits and pieces if anyone knows it!

Awesome, just makes me sure I made the right choice with the s2000!

Know the roads well

Try head out the north deeside to tarland, then head to the lecht. Just before you get to the lecht turn left over the hills towards ballater/braemar then take the south deeside all the way back to aberdeen. Awesome drive!

I really didnt appreciate how good the s2000 is until i got it on track! As you say, very rewarding! Good to see your enjoying it, and hope you had the roof down

The open section on the old military down to South deeside is a lovely bit of road down it in my euros a few times... And, yes, we had the top down!

Glad to hear you're enjoying your car so much. As Craig said, you don't appreciate just how good the chassis and engine package is until you take it on track and give it some hell. I'm always very impressed every time i take mine out!

Friend of mine got a little video of me last week at Snetterton My S2000 driveby at Snetterton

That's great, dude. Glad you're enjoying it.

One of my favourite ways to relax and focus on one thing only is to take the S out on a country road on a nice day. There's no better feeling and she never fails to make me smile and enjoy every mile.

It's such an exciting and fun car and I never feel disconnected from anything - the correct balance of comfort and performance.
