Fitting me polybushes

Thanks mate but my faithful garage bod is going to do it for a drink.
Fairly certain you'll want more than that for the press!
Oh, and I'll have a look again for arrows on the bush tonight

remember to tighten the bolts up with the car on its wheels, its tempting to do it with the car jacked up as its much easier but you lock the bushes at the wrong angle so when put back on its wheels your stressing them

If you can't do that, use a jack under the suspension arm until it's supporting the weight. Then you have everything at the right height.

I always preload the suspension before torquing; something 'ye olde' workshop trainer taught me back in the day.
I can get 7/8 wishbones off no worries, (I already have hardrace rear toe arms ya see), but its the O/S compliance bush thats gonna have to be cut out.
So I am looking at reciprocating saw rental, one with 28mm stroke length will be fine right?

Hi mate, where are you based. Give me a shout if you need some help. Check my build for how we did it. And its not as simple as just pressing the old ones out...

I have seen your thread, I can see how the larger metal sections would stop you from being able to push it through, but how comes its not as simple as pressing em out?
