Default Fitting new HU unit with Modifry adapter

Just fitted an Alpine iDA-X001 with the PnP modifry adapter. All dash controls work except that I can't get the volume switch on the dash to work. Has anyone else here had the same problem when they fitted a new HU or am I overlooking something really obvious here.

BTW I have the blue display as I know the red has issues with the adapter.

Thought I would ask you guys first before getting in touch with Modifry.

Thanks for the help

Martin

Looking on the Modifry website, when you go to purchase the adapter there is a link re issues using the modifry adapter with the iDA-X001. When the red display is chosen for the radio and the dimmer is being used. Apparently the radio interferes with the adapter.

Common issue with Alpine unit and the Modifry DCI.
Two Alpine HU's in mine did the same.
After much messing I found the 3.5mm jack hits the back of the space and bends the cable over causing a dodgy connection.

I also found the DCI can lock up, reset it by pulling it from its connector.
