Default Powerflex black series bushes

Just putting together a shopping list of parts. My car is mainly used for the occasional trackday and weekends away. Are the black series bushes a bit OTT for road use? planning on using the Mugen compliance bushes in conjuction

If they are harder than their standard bushes, then give them a miss mate. Go for their normal ones - they're hard enough.

Powerflex Black Series bushes are manufactured using a 95 Shore A compound to provide maximum control of chassis geometry.

Purple are 70 from what i can gather

I've gone Mugen where I could and purple Powerflex where I couldn't - lovely feel to the whole geo after bededing in and an set-up at TGM, I'd steer clear of the race spec. black ones for the road

I've had some of the standard purple ones wear so changed to black hoping they will last longer.

My car is mostly used for competition and has the 14 year old OG rubber bushes all round apart from the front compliance bushes, which are the spherical Powerflex ones. I am winning with this setup!

I wouldn't bother polybushing a road car. It will only make it nastier.
