I got an ACT 'street' clutch. At the time the consensus on the FI forum was that this was closest to stock feel but good for 400WHP. Been using it for over 2 and a half years now and no complaints.
Imported if from the US and it wasn't that expensive IIRC.

So I couldn't resist popping into the body shop this morning on the way into town.
The painters don't work @ the weekend but attached garage all know me so let me in for a little perv at the progress.
First off snaps of some of the parts I mentioned earlier in the thread. As you can see it's a right Frankenstein car (Silverstone, Moonrock, Pearl Yellow & Luguna Blue!)
Facelift front bumper all smoothed (headlight washers from this are in the FS section)..
Facelift rear bumper yet to be touched..
Mugen rep hard top also yet to be prep'd..
OK enough of the un painted parts.. now to the fun bit.. A few snaps of what they have painted thus far.
There obviously wasn't much light in there to get the full pearl effect and my DSLR was dead when i got it out of it's case so had to resort to the old Iphone again but you get the idea...
I'm really happy with the colour choice
Not such a fan of the base coat colour that they intend to leave the engine bay in.. It is too flat and you can almost still see the silver through it.
I'm going to ask to have the whole engine bay also 3 stage pearl. I'm sure they'll love me!

Once thing is becoming apparent, I seem to have developed mild OCD with what I will and won't put back on the car which is making for an ever growing shopping list of new parts.
Your'e nor too far from my way, will have to pop over and wee how the CR project is doing once the sun is out..

For anyone looking for hard to find parts.. I just had success sourcing the APR head bolts from the following site.
http://www.part-box.com/index.php
They also seem to sock a wide range of roll cages for all you track heads out there.
Make sure you search S2000 "and what you'r looking for" not just S2000 as for some reason that only brings back limited results..

So I got the car back this weekend and am over the moon with it!!!
It's a funny colour as in some lights it can look almost mercadies baige and in thers really crisp audi white.. Either look works for me and I'm extreamly pleased with the quaility of the finish!
I still have ALLOT of work to do especially if I'm going to have her ready for Japfest..
I have started putting the newly sourced full red interior back into the car and I think you'll agree that the contrast between the red and white is stunning..
I havent fitted the front bumper or lip yet as there is allot of front end engine work still to be done. I've also got the Mugen hardtop still to fit which I ended up having done in gloss black exterior and PPW interior.. It looks ace! Again wont fit that for a while as I'm in and out of the car at the min tinkering..
You may have spotted that I have removed the old soft top, it was well passed it's best with several rips and tears so if anyone want's it for spare material then they can have it for free before it goes in the grey bin!
