Default The Frat is over?

Just having a looksey around the forum of late and it seems to me that all the forum stalwarts are selling/sold their cars

Chesh Carper - house
Rralston - Tamora????
Kev - House
Alex_C - Tamora
Zero (always talkingabout it!) etc etc.

Anyone else.......................?

turtle
roadkill
GSi.....................will the madness never end

It is a great shame. I hope all of you will return at some point or at least tell us about your new cars when you get them!

No disrespect to the fine folks on your list Gazzer, but the greatest recent loss has to be Brian (Turtle)

Hopefully he will stick around and continue to offer sage words of advice

Still got mine! Was almost tempted by an Exige a couple of months back, but eventually thought better of it.

Will probably hang on to it 'til next summer, and see what catches my eye then...

Horror stories of the after sale service that was received by several of my friends didn't really sway my decision towards Lotus.

The biggest put off for me however was the difficulty I actually had in getting a test drive. The local Lotus garage to me (St Albans) stopped supplying anything Lotus about a year ago. The next nearest one was in South Kensington. I phoned them, the sales guy was as helpful as he could be, but said they didn't have a demonstrator and didn't have a date to get one either. He didn't bother offering to take my details so that when they got one, he could contact me. Several months later I found out that the garage (H R Owen I think), had kicked Lotus out and they were no longer based there. I haven't got a clue where my nerest dealer is now, but had come to the conclusion that it wasn't meant to be.

And so the CTR......

I still have mine, and will do for another 2 years since it's on a company lease for 42 months, and I had the last one for a year so it'll be a total of 4 1/2 years of S2000 ownership before I even contemplate another car (unless I leave, which is a possibility).

Exige, mmmmmmmm..........
