Not a true DIY mod but you can spend some time butchering the radio door for clocks, dials or digital displays.

Ox, I'm just about to get one of the ThermoTec intake tube heat shields, did you get any measurable difference monitoring intake temps?

it made little difference on the run but helped a little in slow moving traffic, I get mine from Jegs in USA they are half the cost and can be posted in an A4 padded envelope, also if you have a standard intake you can make 2 out of one sleeve. If i went down the cold intake route again the first thing i would do is fit the Hondata gasket and TB bypass mod, its no point insulating everything if you have a nice hot intake manifold.
