Not really a mod, but I'm going to add it anyway.

Cheapy cheap paintwork damage repair. Quite pleased since it was my first attempt.

Nobody has mention one of the most common "free" mods - airbox lid removal.

Cheap mods - LED's for interior lighting and side lights

Free mod - Removed headlamp washer fuse

Free mod to be done - Stopping the damn key in the ignition alarm!

Quite fancy the Shopman sound proofing but that means spanners and taking things out, so it will probably not get done as I'm a numpty when it comes to tools.

Not a true DIY mod but you can spend some time butchering the radio door for clocks, dials or digital displays.

Got any more photos of this? Might do something similar with mine as I don't really want it out on show on top of the dash in case some tw@t tries to help themselves to it.

If you flip in the two catches shown and then fix the lid on again with the remaining catches some of the noise can escape without the heat ingestion problems you get with the lid removed

I posted regarding this recently asking if it was possible, didn't get a reply, so, how to do it please. It made a difference on my civics.

Replace the mild steel the bolts holding on the exhaust tips with stainless before they are 'welded' in place, or at least take them out and copper grease them while you can
