Get some BMW smaller squirter jets fitted.

I think Biker1 did this & it looks so much more discreet than the Honda ones.

Thanks for bringing this topic up.. I hadn't given my headlamp washers a second thought until I read this thread.

Now when I look at front of my car they seem to stick out like a sore thumb!

I don't think I would be bothered to try and replace them with anything else but I would have thought it possible to simply get them colour coded? At least then they'll blend in with the car?

That'll be thermosets and thermoplastics then. Thermosets have links between the long chain polymer molecules, which means they won't slide past eachother when heated up, until you heat them up so much that the molecule starts to break down (oxidation/burning). Thermoplastics don't have these, so their molecule chains do slide past eachother. Think of it like building a wall but only puting mortar on the ends of the bricks, rather than between the layers too. The layers would slide over eachother.

I "think" the ones on Bikers car are off a beemer but i'm not sure.

I've not see blanks for them but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Go walkround a a beemer garage and play I spy

I'm from Blackburn.

If you want it smooth then you've got no choice it'll have to be plastic welded/filled.

I say leave it then get an aftermarket one when you get some spare cash, it'll look smooth and different

wish i had just bought a aftermarket one now whilst it was gettin repaired, just didnt have the patiants to wait plus didnt no were to look or find one, and heard a lot off people say most after market ones dont fit the car very well etc so i just settled for the good old original bumber getin a ali mesh grill which wont make it look to bad then its just the case of the headlight washers, thinkin of doing somethink with the number plate also, just the suround or mount it on the mesh or somethink??? just toyin with ideas at the moment headlight washers are 1st to be sorted, am in liverpool by the way

There are aftermarket ones that fit, they just aint cheap

Get a sticky plate and stick it where your original plate was, sticking a plate on the mesh might make it overheat as that'll block loads of the air flow.

I think your best idea is to get the bumper plastic welded, get rid of the number plate holder holes, honda badge holes and washer jet holes, then it'll be completely smooth, would suit a front lip spoiler then too

Were going to do a mersey tunnel run soon, keep an eye out on the board.
