Default Front castor bushes

Ok, I've been banging on about bushes, bushes, bushes and how it's a luck of the draw.

Dixon is fitting some coilovers for me and called to say both front castor bushes are split both need replacing but Honda only sell the complete arm or whatever for £££'s. Dixon is scratching around for some Mugen jobby's so here's hoping.

Now, I'm a bit puzzled because Tom noticed a wobbly front wheel when he was carrying out the 54k service and commented how WIM could have been able to carry out the alignment if the front wheel was moving

I'm doing a search on castor bushes and would welcome any advice or guidance.

Cheers

Mugen or Spoon are the only ones (to my knowledge) who supply new Castor bushes. I got mine from TDI.

Perhaps Tony missed the damage to them

Accidents happen when it comes to missing something, but potentially tony doing the geometry loaded the suspension differently finishing off the bush.

Regarding the bushes, I got mugen ones from CoG

Thanks for the pointers there - I've just been on the TDI website and ended up buying a cusco rear lower brace

They stock the Mugen ones so if Dixon is struggling I'll get a set from there.

I guess once the bushes are sorted, the coilovers fitted, the rear lower brace installed and a full alignment the car will handle awesome - I hope

Thanks

Someone else on the boards this week bought some of these.
And got DC5 items by mistake.

Best double check part numbers

Just going to order a full poly bush set from the bay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Powerflex-Susp...ht_4381wt_1199

But Do i understand correctly this does not include caster? What is the TDI website you are mentioning? Is caster only for the front?

Thanks in advance!!

If I were you, I wouldn't fit a polybush for the castor. The idea of that bush is to flex and I don't like the polybush in this instance - you'll end up binding, especially on a car with standard suspension.

If you could afford a bearing, it would be well worth it. If not, i'd stick to rubber
