FWIW you could source early OEM ones from a breakers.
The MY 2000 used a front 28.2 5mm thickness bar compared to a MY 2004 26.5mm 4.5 mm thickness.

year front----------------rear
2000 51300-S2A-003 52300-S2A-013 28.2MMXT5.0 27.2MMXT5.3
2002 51300-S2A-013 52300-S2A-J01 26.5MMXT4.5 27.2MMX4.5T
2004 51300-S2A-023 52300-S2A-J02 26.5MMXT4.5 25.4MMX4.5*
2006 51300-S2A-023 52300-S2A-J02 26.5MMXT4.5 25.4MMX4.5*
*according to press release.

you can reference the part numbers, the thickness is in the description.

Mark, you could check with Peter as to whether he has his old ARBs which you could have off him - he changed to the Tanabe ARBs some time ago and I doubt he'll ever want to try to return his car to stock.

I've still got mine...

Seems to me that if you're going to the effort of changing them, you should just get thicker ones.
