Did he tell you this?

From what I remember No more nails isn't particularly good at expanding quickly when dry.

Boil a kettle of water, have the fuel cap open before you do and have some plastic sheet below the fuel cap on the rear wing, when it's boiled get it to the fuel cap as quick as possible (better if you can run an extension, don't want any accidents? Do we?) Pour the boiling water over the cap quickly, watch your toes, if it doesn't expand the cap will and will crack the No more nails.

Worth a try, as you'll have to loose it if you get another.

Ill give that a go, just need to get it off and it looking perfect otherwise it will probably look worse. I guess that the glue will stick to the cover better than the painted surface too

Removing the cap and doing it in the kitchen sink sounds a bit safer though

He did also tell me he used no more nails

Cheers

You mean unscrewing the petrol cap and using a ciggy lighter to melt it off may be a bad idea?

Lol -cheers. It does have a nice Spoon carbon sprak plug cover and some carbon radiator panel (which seems to block a lot of air to the air intake too it seems), those two items are nice but a carbon cover WTF! I even told him it looked crap

I shall burn till it is no more than carbon dust I just hope he used no more nails 'sparingly'.....

Otherwise I think I will have a new type of fuel cap cover, No more nails y0
