I am a bit addicted to new cars, so I am not too sure what will happen. My mind is currently thinking that when the lease runs out in 3 years, I will buy the car to either a) sell on making a good profit or b) keep as a weekend / trackday car and buy/ lease a more normal car for work.

Knowing me though, I will not want a boring car for work and end up selling the S and getting something equally as cool/crazy.

The S is the best car I have ever owned, in terms of indviduality, fun and good looks. I am a driving enthusiast like most on here, but I really crave for switchable ESP for those wet and wintery days.

Back to the subject though, this car is definate classic

Well, the S2000 has been rated Group 20 since the start... it hasn't been put there as a result of the amount of prangs. Insurance underwriters are a canny lot and they seldom get these things wrong. It isn't just pure performance, it's the whole nature of the beast, and it's pretty unique in being a pure very edgy driving machine with no driver aids, that just begs to be thrashed. Inevitably, people are going to come unstuck. Factor in the soft top, the risk of rolling it, and I reckon the S well deserves it's Group 20 rating.

I've got to say that in many ways I perhaps ought to have gone for the CTR over the S2000 if I was totally honest

with 1 child and another on the way I am not going to get so much of an opportunity to take the S2000 out

Still I love my S2000 but I am considering trying to persuade the wife out of her Audi and into a CTR....now that would be the best of both worlds

The CTR and an S is my idea of paradise. Without bringing JLO into it that is!

I always intended to keep mine for a very long time but circumstances now dictate otherwise

I definitely think it will become a classic. It has all the hallmarks : exclusivity and cutting edge technology

I tried to persuade Jude she might like the CTR.

We got a CR-V instead and I'm not disapointed.
