Good day today at the garage. Ray sorted out my car by fitting my Big Brake Kit, Lee sorted his brakes on his accord motorway barge, Ricardo found out why he was getting a vibration from the rear of his car and Alex gave his an oil and spark plug change.

Thanks to Lee also for going and getting the pig butties and again to Ray for sharing his vast knowledge.

Yeah thanks to Gaffer n all round motor Guru Daytona Dave I now finally understand the witchcraft that hides inside my Accords brake drums, was great to learn a new skill!!

I never knew until now that a car can have a brake disc & drum combo!!

My first Mini had drums all round. Braking in the wet was always interesting.

Hmmml Not sure if I explained my ignorance clearly enough...
Obv's I know cars can have discs at front and drums at the rear....but the rear brakes on the Accord are discs....however they also have the drum for the handbrake inside the disc!!

Does that make sense?
