Default Geo Bolts Where to source in UK ? £££££!

Hi guys

I'm putting all of my suspension back together and need a selection of fresh Honda nuts and bolts..

This is what I need:

2x 26
2x 13
2x 14
2x 25
2x 19
2x 23

So far all of the quotes I have got back have been crazy expensive!!

For example I just got quoted £45 for a cam nut, self lock.!! Of which I need 2x! I checked on Hondaparts.net and they are $14..

UK

http://www.lingshondaparts.com/product.php/651425/

US

http://www.hondapartsonline.net/shop...26startrow%3D1

Now normally I would order these from the US but I really need the bottom of my car back on this weekend. Is there anywhere in the UK that charges anywhere close to the prices they get in the US?? Can't believe the difference in price and how they can even justify it!

You won't get anywhere near those prices here. Try Si at Hendy or perhaps Tegiwa.

I mmaged to re-use most of the parts except 25 and 13 - just wire brushed the rest with a drill might helpcut down your costs if you can do that.

Are they not zinc coated though?

They have some kind of coating not sure they are galvanised though, but doesn't seem to do anything for corrosion prevention in the first place

you wont get them anywhere near the US prices over here mate. You might be worth contacting Bow1Build to see if he has any left over after breaking his cars?

Thanks for all your advise guys!

I wanted new as everything under the car is now new or refurbed. Plus the parts I listed were either cut or ground off when we removed everything.

I ended up going through Si @ Hendy (Top bloke!! ), think it is the 3rd order this week already!

Even though there was a bit of a discount the over all price was disgusting for what is basically nuts and bolts.. If I had a choice and could of waited for longer then I would of gone state side then I would of..

However I need the wheels back on the car next week so I can trailer it to the body shop to respray the engine bay and do my overfenders.

I think that's the best price new you'd find, (Si is indeed a top bloke and will go that extra bit every time) and totally understand after all that blasting and powder coating you'd only want to put shiney bits back on - of course it would be rude to drive it now - you'll just have to park it on a big mirror so everyone can appreciate your hard work
