Warranty is always from the 1st registration date in the UK unless it has been registered in another country first. So assuming your car has delivery miles, contact Honda UK and I am sure it will be fine.
Just give Honda UK the VIN and let them work it all out prior to purchase.
As for the deposit, read the T&C's of the sales agreement that you should have signed.

My 06 EU import was warrantied from the day of import.
Also read the T&C's
I nealry bought an import from them last year but it was damaged and I didn't like they way they were repairing it

Nope, EU supplied cars also get a three year warranty. The only difference is that it is a 60k mile warranty rather than a 90k mile warranty.
