Goodwood 2001

I have been in touch with the German S2000 owners' club and some of the guys plan to visit Goodwood this year.
What I thought of doing was to try and organise a European S2000 Owners' Club day at either the Revival Meeting or Festival of Speed.
Festival of Speed : Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July
Revival Meeting: Friday 14th to Sunday 16th September
More info and ticket pricing:

Be aware that these events are not cheap!
2 years ago Honda invited some of us to a special celebration of the S2000 launch. I wondered about contacting them to see if they would help with this event.
Firstly I want to get an idea of the interest level.
Please use this thread to make comments about this proposal and indicate if you might be interested. There is plenty of time!

Paul,
Yep I'm interested and would be joined by a fellow S2K owner.
I don't remember Goodwood being too expensive when I went for Honda's 50th a couple of years ago so it should be possible to get a decent sized turnout.
Is it worth seeing if Honda UK can provide some sort of hospitality for us? After all, this is all good advertising for them.
Regards,

Hello, sorry to be a little late on this one, but I have only just taken delivery of my S2K (Sliverstone, Red, 627 miles in 10 days with me!)
I would very much like to meet up with some other like minded folk at the Festival of Speed - for those who havn't been before, it is simply superb - access to drivers and machinery is better than anywhere else on planet earth.I think the prices are remarkably reasonable (compare them with the British GP the following week-end - now there is a pricy event!)
Please let me know how things develop.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I have been totally sleeping when it comes to checking the forums.
O.K. Festival of Speed - I'm planning on going on either the Saturday or Sunday.
To get a special car park area we are looking at needing 100+ owners to come along - which I doubt we will get. So anyone want to meet up somewhere first and arrive & park together, or just arrange to meet somewhere inside?
Any suggestions on where to meet?
Email me at : goodwood@s2000.org.uk
As for the Revival meeting - I'm not sure if I'll get there as I'll have a new baby (a living, screaming one not a new S2000). However, please let me know your thoughts and I'll put the details on the website at http://www.s2000.org.uk/new/Events/events.html
