I've been looking at the Morpheous http://www.morpheous.com/morpheous.asp for a while now, but a newer device called the Origin Blue i has appeared http://www.originbluei.com/..... The new box seems to give you more for your money and is at an introductory price of

Matt:

The only time I've ever exceeded the speed limit was driving behind you at the Cotswolds Meet, so I don't normally need a detector. Actually there's been a few enquires from members about these things recently so you'll get some feedback. I like the idea of being able to add the Sat Nav later on.

These seem like a good idea, as I guess they will be harder for the government to legislate against then radar detectors, the problem is that they will not cover mobile speed traps and they may lull people into a false sense of security.

In my experience the mobile speed traps seem few and far between these days.

I guess they must be making enough money from the fixed cameras

I have been waiting months for my Origin Blue i and they have now confirmed delivery as Dec 10th. A few friends have Morpheus units and they are generally unhappy with them, this is mainly down to customer support, not being paid
