Nope, the bottom sill isn't dented, just what you can see in the picture.

I've just had the quote: £1600

Although price is irrelevant to me of course

Includes new door, new scraper seal, new wheel arch seal, new wing decals. He's going to repair the panel behind the door and repaint/blend all adjacent panels. All sounds good to me although I'm not quite sure what a scraper seal is ..

Thinking about getting the front bumper done at the same time, I've been thinking about getting the licence plate holder removed and the holes filled!

Bit of T Cut be reet!!!

I feel your pain matey

the good thing is there is only one shade of moonrock I think no variants, so you'll always get a good colour match. My bodyshop mate whos just touched up something for me on my moonrock said I could probably get away painting edge to edge the colour match was that bang on!

Nope, there's at least 3, possibly up to 7 but I can't remember. I learnt that the hard way with clobbering the front lip on my MY04 a few years back.

Yep, there are 'bluer' and 'browner' variants. Every body shop I've had the pleasure of using says 'That can't be the original colour' because none of their versions match! Thankfully the last one did a damn good job of matching so no blending was required.

We have three Ford B max pool cars at work two with parking sensors and one without, guess what one has had four reversing shunts in three months. These aids only de-skill drivers, I dread to think what would happen if they had auto parking!
