handbreak

Default handbreak

I recently changed my rear break pads, cleaned and greased the pistons etc so they r free but i am getting break binding from the rear i think, do i need to adjust hand break?

well i cleaned the calipers and freed them up, i just wonder if i should have readjusted the handbreak

ps did you wind the piston in before you fitted the new pads.

Thw answer is no!, the pisten clicks out on a ratchet. If it did not you would be always adjusting your handbrake.

If your back brakes are catching now, and they was not before you changed them. Then I sugest you did not wind the piston all the way back in.

the other thing is that it only happens when they warm up, its fine when its cold for the first few miles

How do you adjust the handbrake though? Is it on the calipers, on on the handbrake itself?
